They can become destructive if left too much to their own devices and love to dig. These dogs have a strong prey drive and will go after small animals.
Show lines are generally heavier and easier going than field lines. They do not like to be left alone, so if this is the breed for you, you may want to consider having two. Often the best pets are from combination show/field stock. Remember that the Labrador Husky is a sled dog in heart and soul. If you are planning to show, buy only from a reputable breeder.
