Characteristics: |
Shorkies are so interactive they seem just like a two year old child in a funny Halloween costume. They ove to play with stuffed toys. They are excellent alert dogs, but not good guard dogs. They think everyone is their friend. They are easy to travel with; however, they may bark if left alone in the Hotel room.

Companionship: |
If you are looking for unconditional love, and you have the time to give a dog daily loving then a Shorkie is the right dog for you.

Grooming: |
Shorkie Tzus require more than average grooming. If you let their hair grow out you will need to brush them daily. Therefore for ease of care it is best to give them puppy cuts about every 6 - 8 weeks.

Training: |
Shorkie Tzus are very intelligent, and very easy to train.

Barking: |
Shorkies rarely bark.
